Monday - Friday
6/24, 6/25, 6/26, 6/27 & 6/28

Schedule:
830 am - Registration/Players meeting
8:45 am to 9:45 am - Video Review/Class Room & off ice (Slide Board/Mobility Training)
10 am to 11 am - Edges/Technical Skating
11 am to 12 pm - Tactical Defense Drills
12 pm to 12:30 pm - Dismissal

10u/12u/14u/16u/18u
**Players will be divided into small groups by skill/age


Details:

• Technical Individual Skating guaranteed to improve Balance & Power
  
• Functional Edgework designed to educate players
• 6 to 1 ratio – small group training
• 10 hours on ice/week
• 5 hours off ice - video analysis & review, slideboard, stickhandling
• 2013 and older have the option to undergo mobility screening with NY Rangers PT Kevin Cota (via Performance Optimal Health) – athletes will be provided feedback on performance and an initial exercise program

• Transitional skating with puck & w/o puck
• Backwards skating
• 1st 3 steps & quickness
• Opening up passing lanes with lateral movement
• Angling opponents
• Creating shooting lanes

Other Skills Taught:

• Initiating breakouts
• Winning battles along the boards
• Utilizing the net
• Quick decision making and situational control
• Scoring
