3 pm to 5 pm - On Ice
5:15 to 6 pm - Video Review/Class Room & off ice (Slide Board/Mobility Training)

2016 - 2010
**Players will be divided into small groups by skill/age

Details:

• Technical Individual Skating guaranteed to improve Balance & Power
  
• Functional Edgework designed to educate players 
• Professional KNPS Coaches
• 8 hours on ice/week
• 1 Hour Edges/Technical Skating/day
• 1 Hour Tactical Defense Drills
• 4 hours off ice - video analysis & review, slideboard instructional training
  

Skills Taught - Major Focus:

• Gap control – ** major focus **
• Transitional skating with puck & w/o puck
• Backwards skating
• 1st 3 steps & quickness
• Opening up passing lanes with lateral movement
• Angling opponents
• Creating shooting lanes

Other Skills Taught:

• Initiating breakouts
• Winning battles along the boards
• Utilizing the net
• Quick decision making and situational control
• Scoring
